My Philippine Vacation

Posted in Cameradventure by jaredtech on the May 31, 2006

Finally, I can now upload some photos on my Flickr account. My last vacation was welcomed by a typhoon so there isn't much summer pics.

Monday, we went up early morning to Tagaytay to get a glimpse of the Taal Volcano after a weekend's rainshower. Quite a view.

I spent the rest of the week at home doing some early morning shots, while everyone is busy going to work. The Philippine sunrise is one of the best natural source of light for photography.

Noontime becomes hazy sometimes especially when rainy season is about to come. This portion of our garden taken after the storm.

A relatively quiet neighborhood. This the frontage of our house.

Jackfruit grows in our garden too!

A typical traffic in a Sunday afternoon. This is the grandfather of the Humvee.

Singapore Lost and Found

Posted in Cameradventure by jaredtech on the May 1, 2006

When you feel that you have ran out of subjects to shoot in Singapore, sometimes the urge is to go on a life project. A project that you are truly interested, where you don't only shoot at surface value but for the real genuine fondness of the subject in mind. Part of my life project is to take shots of Singapore's old structures and historical alleys where some of it may not be around for the next 10 years.
